Dorset Artists Guild

Collection: Caroline Tucker

Caroline is an independent professional artist living and working in Dorset. Her practice is rooted in a love of creativity and design, with her work characterised by a playful yet considered use of colour, form, and texture.

She studied at the Arts University Bournemouth before going on to complete a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Textile Design at Cardiff. After graduating, Caroline worked for a London-based print and embroidery studio, producing designs for leading high street fashion brands. This experience not only refined her technical skills but also gave her a deep understanding of composition, pattern, and visual storytelling.

Building on this foundation, she later developed her own brand of creative products before moving into fine art, where she now specialises in expressive acrylic and delicate watercolour works. Her paintings are often described as vibrant, quirky, and full of character—qualities that reflect both her design background and her individual artistic voice.

The inspiration for Caroline’s imagery comes directly from her surroundings in Dorset, where rolling countryside and dramatic coastline provide a constant source of ideas.
