Cathy paints large seascapes and is fascinated by movement of water, patterns of light and reflections on the sea which highlight the ever-changing beauty of the Dorset coastline.

Cathy Veale is a well-known artist who specialises in large coastal paintings in an unmistakable style rich in luminosity and colour. She studied graphic design at the Bournemouth and Poole college of Art and Design. Cathy has travelled extensively, undertaking a variety of artwork projects and has lived in Dorset for many years. Cathy sells her work nationally and internationally and has regularly exhibited work alongside Britain’s leading watercolour artists in London, with the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, Royal Society of Marine Artists, and South West Academy of Arts.
