Collection: Claire Tozer

Claire’s work is inspired by the Dorset landscape she lives in and rides her pony through, with many of her paintings referenced from photographs she takes whilst horse riding, offering her a unique between-the-ears perspective on her surrounding landscape.

She also enjoys painting plein air, otherwise, Claire works from her studio at home, usually in the company of a cat!

Through painting, Claire is drawn to capture the light, energy and movement she sees when outdoors, which she strives to bring back the feel of to her easel and interpret though oil paint, a medium she has been using for many years and always returns to as a firm favourite.
