Collection: Janet Bourne

Janet graduated with first-class BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Staffordshire University then went on to do MA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins in London. She creates colourful representations of landscapes, delving into the exploration of mediums especially oil paint, highly influenced by
Per Kirkeby, Joan Mitchell, Henri Matisse, Pierre Bonnard and Frank Auerbach for visual tips and guidance.  Janet, has come to know 
the landscape round her through extensive hikes into the woods, mountains and marshes. Nature is presented close-up, encompassing the dense tangle of the woods and changing colours of the seasons.
