Collection: Jenny Sutton RBSA

Jenny's inspiration is drawn from whatever is in season in her garden or on the market stalls to create her subtle and closely observed paintings. She loves combining her finds with vintage bowls,jugs and baskets from her evergrowing collection, and works with a limited palette placing emphasis on quiet colour harmonies and strong composition. 

She studied Fine Art at Reading University and became a full-time painter in the 1980's. She has exhibited widely and has shown work at The Royal West of England Academy, The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, The Royal Institute of Oil Painters, The South West Academy, The Society of Women Artists and many private galleries. 

She was elected a full member of the RBSA in 2007.
