Collection: Shaun Forward

After years of honing a precise and disciplined style in his professional career, Shaun Forward is now embracing a freer, more expressive approach in his fine art. Moving towards a looser, impressionistic style, he draws inspiration from artists such as Rob Pointon, Kalie Graves, Ann Cowan, David Atkins, and John Piper. This exciting evolution in his work has led to invitations to exhibit in professional galleries—an opportunity he deeply values. 

Shaun studied Technical Illustration at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art from 1972 to 1977, earning a City & Guilds qualification with distinction. He then embarked on a successful career, working both in-house and as a freelancer for some of the South Coast’s leading design groups and advertising agencies. With a legacy that includes contributions to numerous national award-winning campaigns, Shaun now finds fulfillment in leaving the fast-paced industry behind to focus on his artistic journey and the creative freedom it brings.
